SeptemBURR Preview!!

This tuesday is SeptemBURR meaning theres a major #GucciMane release coming out. Now ORIGINALLY Young Jeezy, T.I., And Gucci Mane's albums were ALL supposed to drop this tuesday. As far as we all know right now, Jeezy & T.I.s albums have been pushed back (This isn't news for Jeezy, we're convinced TM103 is NEVER dropping). As far as big time competition, Gucci now has to compete with the out-of-nowhere release of "I Am Not A Human Being" by Lil Wayne. Now this isn't another "Rebirth" mishap but it isn't "Carter 4" either so as far as projections go on sales, no ones knows. Back to the Brick Squad leader for the hour:

"The Appeal: Georgia's Most Wanted" is Gucci's first retail release since he was released from jail this past May. This album seems as sort of a sequel to "The State Vs. Radric Davis" and also sort of a "Hey N*ggas I'm Back" sign to let people know being in jail did NOT make him fall off. He went from his first featurette on "She Geeked" to dropping two exclusive mixtapes: Ferrari Music & Jewelry Selection. While "The Appeal" has a few tracks released on those tapes & around the internet, it features MANY songs not heard yet. The first single "Show Time (Ft. Swizz Beatz)" was only a preview of what the album had to bring. He has Bun B, Swizzy, Nicki Minaj, Pharrell, Estelle, Ray J, & Wyclef make guest appearances on the 15 track album. This ones skit free so you won't hear Mike Epps retarded a$$ on this album. The album doesn't stray far from usual Gucci: you have your "Trap Tracks" for you to bump in your charger, a few tracks for the females, and a few tracks to get the club goin'. Overall it looks to be another Gucci classic but thats for the listeners to determine!

Impressions: Thank Me Later - Drake

For those living under a rock, first off welcome to 2010. Theres a black president, Myspace is lame now, & your great grandma probably has an iPhone! But that's beside the point, if you somehow haven't heard, Drake's LONG anticipated album "Thank Me Later" has been leaked! He's already responded to the leak & his fans (Even the ones who have heard it) are still determined to purchase it when it drops sometime in the coming weeks. Apparently thats how good it is. On my birthday I was sent a Retail Copy of the album and haven't been able to stop listening to it. I'm one of those fans that is 99% sure I'm purchasing the album when it drops. Skip the songs you've heard on the radio (Over, Find Your Love, Shut It Down) they don't do much, if any justice for what you're prepared to hear on the album. The production is crazy first off includes beats by Swizz Beats, KanYe West, & many more noticeable producers. His featurettes go even further with artists including: Jay-Z, Young Jeezy, Lil Wayne, Nicki Minaj, Alicia Keys, The Dream, T.I., and Swizz Beats. Minus "Over" I can listen to the WHOLE album all the way through, skip-free. I think we've all had our fair share of "Over" for awhile. I do NOT condone downloading the album, even if you ARE going to buy it later, just wait it out til the album drops. But I can't tell you guys what to do I can only encourage it (LOL). @Tru_Q :Thank Me Later shows Drake's climb in life,with a few tales about how women can be sometimes in life dependin on........how they're treated.Overall,the album is a continuation of So Far Gone in my opinion,cuz it has that same feel to it.......except the album seems more directed to his female audience.
