This doesn't surprise me at all. If ANYONE ever heard Cory's verse on the "A Millie" remix, you would know that he is not only ill but also has great chemistry with Wayne. No need to see if this will work out, next to Drake, Cory is the illest (lyrically) member of Young Money now. If you haven't had your turn to hear any of Cory before and DON'T know who he is check out his latest & illest mixtape with @DjDrama http://www.livemixtapes.com/mixtapes/10492/cory_gunz_heir_to_the_throne.html Heir To The Throne GANGSTA GRILLZ ya bastard!

Weezy Cinema
If you have yet to see either of Lil Wayne's extensive 2009-2010 documentaries The Carter Doc & The Nino Brown Story Part 2 you're missing out on a world of Wayne that you don't get from listening to "No Ceilings" over & over.
The Carter Doc is a new approach to what most of you are used to seeing in hood documentaries (The Come Up, Smack, ETC). Although it's from QD3 (Beef Series) it, in my opinion, is one of those movies you'll watch if, god forbid, Weezy were ever laid to rest. This movie will probably have Weezy looking at it a few years ahead like "Damn, I grinded hard as hell and look where I'm at now". The movie starts a few weeks before The Carter 3 is released and goes on up til the week where he sold a million. It features various interviews, Concert footage, studio performances, and more. I don't know maybe you'll have to watch for yourself and make your own opinion about it.
Here's the trailer of it:
I'm sure my brilliant Sidizens™ know their way around google enough to find the movie, not sure if it's on DVD yet.
The Nino Brown Story Part 2 is more of a look into studio weezy, daily weezy, and fun/hard working weezy. While NBS2 has the mechanics of a hood DVD it does carry many qualities of a strong documentary. Unlike The Carter Doc, NBS2 goes from Carter 3 all the way to No Ceilings with everything in between. NBS2 features concert footage, behind the scenes of video shoots, freestyles, backstage footage at concerts, some spotlight on other Young Money members, and Weezy's grind in general. You can get legal access to NBS2 via Youtube or www.mixtaperevolution.com. The Youtube version is streaming 10 parts so it's a little lengthy.
Here's the teaser for NBS2:
I say that you Youtube, Google, Torrent, whatever your thing may be, these 2 great cinematical (real word?) accomplishments about the trials & hardwork of Dwayne "Weezy" Carter.

11/08/09 Intro
Good Afternoon world and welcome to the OFFICIAL CBS BLOG. Start things off if you haven't already noticed, CBS stands for CaliBoySwagger. My name is SiDY if you didn't already know then there you go.
New Singles:
First off I want to talk about the song that just over the weekend got stuck in my head. Song is called "Walk Wit A Dip - Ca$h ft. Dorrough". This is DEF a club banger. I can see people jiggin' to it now. Hell thats all I do when it comes on. I haven't heard of the artist and don't listen to the lyrics too hard so he might be on track for a One-Hit Wonder. OHW! Bottom Line the shit goes hard, heres the official music video:
Next track to put everybody on is "Gotta get it - Juvenile ft. Gucci Mane". Gotta say whether you think Juvi' made a return on this one or not, you can't help but admit that the song goes hard. The version with Gucci is the remix but Gucci did it justice so thats the version I'm putting everyone on to:
Last track is from my nigga The Dream. I did a little bit of research and it seems like this track comes off of 'Love Vs Money - The Hangover Edition'. The track is called "Hit It on the Road - The Dream". Can't wait til it gets played in the club down here! Heres the (fan-made) vid:
Album/Mixtape Reviews:
Well to jump things off, if you have yet to get 'No Ceilings', you're hella late for class and you're off the roster [LOL]. Most of us had the unofficial leaked version right before its Halloween release. But as of November 1st the official version was released on Wayne's website including 5 new tracks. http://www.lilwaynehq.com/2009/11/01/lil-wayne-no-ceilings-official-mixtape-download/ This link contains the official artwork, updated tracklist and many different links to the updated tape.
Mixtape Review:
Lil Wayne - No Ceilings
Not sure about anyone else but when I listened to this tape all the way through two things happen - 1.) I quickly flashed back to "Drought 3 Weezy" and 2.) I had my favorite Tracks/Classic Quotes already. This mixtape was the MixtapeWeezy that Jay-Z mentioned. I guess it was worth the wait, with the most excitement we got being "Young Money Allstars" mixtapes and "We be steady mobbin'". For a second I thought Drake and the rest of Young Money had a chance to steal the spotlight. Well not anymore [LOL]. Looks like its bumping 'No Ceilings' until the 'Rebirth' and 'Young Money Fam' albums drop. I wonder/hope we get a Drake mixtape inbetween now and the release of 'Thank Me Later'.
Mixtape Rating (5/5)
Album Review:
Jay-Z - Blueprint 3
Yes I know it has been out for a minute but I just got the new Wale album so that will be reviewed in my next post. And plus come on, Blueprint 3 was an amazing album anyways. Personally I only skip 4 tracks, "Run This Town" and "D.O.A." because they've been out on the radio and I'm tired of them. The other two "Empire State of Mind" and "Young Forever" because I just wasn't feeling them. Not saying Hov didn't go hard on them, just not my style. Hardest track on the album "Real as it Gets ft. Young Jeezy", Runner up "Venus vs Mars". He had some great producers and even better featurettes. Way to go hard in '09 Hov.
Album Rating (4/5)
Artist to Watch:
I'm giving this one to Gudda Gudda. This man is hella underrated. His new mixtape 'Guddaville' goes SO hard and at the same time gives other Young Money artists a chance to shine but not OVER shine him. Behind Weezy and Drake, Gudda is the hottest on Young Money. Fourth place becomes a fight between Jae Millz & Mack Maine, but thats another argument. Not sure if he has an album on the way but best believe I'll keep everyone posted if he does.
Outro:
Well this is it for my very first post on this blog. I think I might start using ZShare to give you guys direct download links to the songs I mention instead of just Youtube vids. Expect these posts to be much more rich as my blog progresses. Also expect to see Guest Bloggers, Artists interviews, Music exclusives, and hip hop news. Help get my blog out there I can't do this alone! Tell your friends, enemies, families, employees, co-workers, employers, teachers, peers, etc [LOL].
